Meet our beauty and barber graduates! This year’s ShearLove beauty and barber graduation is more than a celebration—it’s a powerful testimony of transformation and hope. During my time at ShearLove, I had the privilege of teaching English and mentoring the girls in the beauty program. Watching these beautiful women step out of bondage and brokenness has been the greatest highlight of the year.

The two men in our barber program came from deeply Buddhist backgrounds. The young man on the left joined through the invitation of our barber teacher, and the one on the right had served as a monk for 18 years. When he entered the program, he knew nothing about the Christian faith. Today, he walks in the truth and knows the way. This ShearLove beauty and barber graduation marks a spiritual milestone for them and for all of us who have walked alongside them.

Thank you for praying for our students and staff. These students are now equipped with vocational skills that can sustain them—and with a deeper knowledge of Jesus that will carry them forward.

Cambodia: A Heart For Wisdom

After the ShearLove beauty and barber graduation, I traveled to Cambodia, where I had the opportunity to visit Kit and Ream Carson. They’ve served faithfully as missionaries for several years. Behind the yellow bus in the photo stood their very first orphanage building. Today, that same site has expanded into a thriving school.

Now in 2025, A Heart for Wisdom serves over 1,000 Cambodian students. During my stay, the Carsons graciously hosted me and even allowed me to help in one of the classrooms. Their commitment to long-term discipleship and education reminded me that just like in Pattaya, the seeds we plant today can grow into something beyond what we can imagine.
