Shearlove Update: A New Season of Growth and Grace
This year at Shearlove we have 6 beauty students and 3 barbers. Our students all come from different backgrounds, some have never spoken English and others never got to finish school due to poverty. On the other hand we have students who are learning what it means to follow Jesus! We have a new beauty teacher! Miss Lacie (image on the right), Lacie had been a beauty teacher with Paul Mitchell back in the states for 15 years. She is knowledgeable and has been an answered prayer to Shearlove! The students are excited and love how well she goes into detail.
Project Baan: Laying the Groundwork for Home
The photo above shows more than just land—it’s the future foundation of hope.
In the heart of Pattaya, this empty lot is where Project Baan begins. Shearlove is taking a bold next step: by 2026, we aim to build actual homes for the women we serve—survivors of exploitation who are beginning to rebuild their lives.
“Baan” means home in Thai, and that’s exactly what this project is about: creating a place of refuge, safety, and restoration.
We’re not just teaching skills—we’re building a future where survivors have a home to heal and belong.

Prayer and Praise
Please pray for our students! In particular for one of our girls and for restoration in her life
It was just Mother’s day here! (image below) In Thailand we celebrate in accordance to the Queens birthday. An outreach took place and we got to meet many women who are in the Red Light District. Pray for these women who were reached, that they would have hope and the seeds that were planted would take root in good soil!
These next few months we will begin to host teams from the states! Can’t wait to share more news on how God is moving in Thailand!
