Armando is a native of the Inland Empire where he came to Christ as a teenager at Calvary Chapel Redlands. He soon began ministering at the local church that, a few years later, sent him to Hungary as a missionary were evangelized and help plant churches. After nearly ten years in Hungary, where he met his wife, a fellow missionary, they came back to the States and served in inner-city ministry in Omaha, Nebraska. Over the last fifteen years, he has served as both youth pastor and assistant pastor and is now head pastor at Calvary Chapel Fallbrook. He has been married for 20 years and has two teenagers.
